MARMARIS - FETHIYE - MARMARIS " Cabin
Charter " ( 8 Days - 7 Nights)
Tour Starts: (May to
October): Every Saturday's at Marmaris Marina
Even if you are single or only a couple and do wish to enjoy
gullet chartering, you can book a cabin on a gulet which does set
tours along the Turkish coast. Individuals or small groups are combined
with other passengers and you would be sailing up to 18 persons on
a gullet.
Marmaris is the regular base of embarkation and disembarkation. Charters
begin on Saturday and embarkation time is 17 p.m. and they end again
on the following Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Upon embarkation arrival of
passengers may last until Sunday early morning. Therefore, the first
night is spent at the harbour unless all guests are aboard on Saturday
afternoon. The yacht returns to the disembarkation port on Friday
evening since there would be some passengers leaving the yacht very
early on Saturday morning.
DAY 1: SAT Transfer from Dalaman airport
to your yacht in Marmaris Harbour. When all members of your group have
arrived the skipper will welcome you and answer any questions you may
have about the trip. For your first night on board we'll stay in the
harbour so that you may get acquainted at leisure with lively Marmaris.
( Depending on your request and on weather conditions you may stay in
Kadirga Bay on this night). D
DAY 2: SUN After breakfast we depart
for the lunch to Kuyruk Buku. Till the afternoon time you will have
a funfull time on around of Kuyruk Buku bays. Swimming , sunbath, fishing,
diving, snorkelling... Later in the afternoon we'll sail on to Bedri
Rahmi Bay, "creator" of the blue voyages. We'll anchor in
this lovely place for the night, and have your dinner in this lovely
and virgin nature wonders bay. This bay got its name one of the most
popular painter of Turkey. (B,L,D)
DAY 3: MON If you wish you can follow the
sunrise from the hills of Bedri Rahmi Bay, after this nature wonder
you will have your breakfast and you will sail to Gocek Island. Even
before you anchor to Yassica Island for the dinner, you will eat your
lunch in Boynuz Buku. (B,L,D)
DAY 4: TUE After the breakfast
on Yassica Island we will move to Fethiye harbour. A minibus will
be ready there to take us to the famous lagoon "Oludeniz"
or "Sakli Kent" (both are extra tours). The long, white
sand and pebble beach extends far into the sea causing the clear water
to shimmer bright turquoise. When we return to the yacht, dinner will
be ready. Later on you'll surely spend some time in town or spend
the night in Samanlik Bay if you wish. (B,L,D)
DAY 5: WED On this day we'll set sail for
Tersane Island for the lunch. Many centuries ago the people of this
region built their wooden ships here. You can still see ruins of the
ancient shipyard. After 5 c'lock tea on Batik Hamam Bay, a short trekking
to Aga Limani. The gullet will meet us in this lovely bay for the dinner.

DAY 6: THU Early wake up for the breakfast on Delik Island. After
breakfast ,there we'll be met by a river boat which will take us to
the site of ancient Caunos (Extra Tour and p.p €25.00EU) in the
delta of Dalyan river and then up river further to the sulphur mud baths,
supposedly very cleansing for your skin (extra). The extensive sandy
beaches of Dalyan delta are one of the last breeding places of the Mediterranean
sea turtle's Caretta-Caretta's. At the end of the excursion (if you
joined) we will anchor at Ekincik Bay for the dinner. (B,L,D)
DAY 7: FRI After breakfast we'll set sail
to Paradise Island for the lunch where we'll spend some time swimming,
surfing and snorkeling, diving, fishing. Then with the setting sun we'll
make fast for Marmaris quay. (B,L,D)
DAY 8: SAT Say To Say: Our last breakfast
together then it will be time so say goodbye until we meet again, some
other time for another cruise. (B)
Below gives you some idea of what we serve on board:
The Turkish cuisine is said to be the third greatest in the world
and our chefs on board have many culinary surprises. The menus utilize
all the local produce available in what mainly regional home cooking.
A variety of salads, yogurt and vegetable dishes accompany a selection
of chicken, meat and fish receipts. For vegetarians the Turkish food
is ideal.
BREAKFAST: A selection of cheese,
butter, olives, tomatoes, cucumber, jams and honey. eggs, sausages
or salami are also served on alternate days. Tea and Coffee, fruit
juice is extra.
LUNCH: Traditional seasonal vegetable
dishes such as Imam Bayildi (The Priest Fainted from surprise - a
stuffed aubergine dish) or Bamya (okra), served with mixed salads,
pasta or rice.
5 O'CLOCK TEA: Biscuits or Borek (a
special home-made savory cake). Tea and Coffee.
DINNER: Soup, mezes (a selection of
starters and salads). A meat dish like Kadinbudu Kofte (Ladies Thight
Meat Balls), chicken or fish main course. Fruit or desert.
Drinks (Extra): On board we also have
our bar where most drinks are available. The prices are reasonable
and we keep them in line with normal bar prices on the land. It is
normal for clients to use this bar service rather than using duty
free items.
WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU to BRING THEM: Cameras
- Your own private towels - Luggage bags - Light colour sweatshirts
- Shorts are as important as swimming suits - adviced to bring some
T-shirts - Mosquito repellents - Tough shoes for trekking, sandals
on board - Swimming shoes - A warm windproof waterproof anorak and
jacket - Sleeping bag if you want to sleep on deck, under the stars.
There is a music set, VHF Radiotelephone and a dinghy on each yacht.
Crew consists of a captain, cook and a deckhand.
